MICROARRAY DATA
A microarray is a method of comparing expression of a gene between two types of tissues, often a control and a disease. There is a schematic below depicting the four types of results that a microarray could show. One tissue could have a greater or lesser expression as compared to the other, (green, red) or there could be equal levels of expression (yellow) or no expression in either tissue (black) [1].
There was no microarray data relevant to lactose intolerance, so I have not included any.
